Invitation to work with 157 Group in partnership
4th August 2010
Invitation to Create an Awarding Organisation Partnership with the 157 Group
The 157 Group wish to explore the potential of being able to make significant efficiencies in existing costs currently paid to private awarding bodies and to award qualifications and accredit other non-framework provision under the 157 Group brand. We want to work with a partner Awarding Organisation to clarify, develop and achieve efficiencies, improve responsiveness and to create our own awarding body status.
The strategic objectives we aim to achieve through an innovative and creative partnership are:
-
Greater flexibility and responsiveness in the design and availability of qualifications
-
Improved responsiveness to employers and learners for their qualification and accreditation needs
-
Greater value for money and return on the investment of purchasing qualifications, and all associated costs, for member colleges
-
A powerful voice and greater influence for the 157 Group in the world of awarding and education
-
Co-creating a radical and exciting new form of organisation with strong staff engagement, involvement and possible ownership.
-
An improved high quality, effective and VFM awarding service to all FE Colleges highly competitive with existing services
-
Increased promotion of, and enhanced value of the 157 Group brand as its own awarding organisation.
If you are interested in submitting a brief by noon on the 9th September with an opportunity for successful bidders to present on 27th September please read our invitation and follow the required process.
