Update from 157 Group: Shared Services and Collaboration Fund

Dear Colleague,

I am writing to give you advance notice of the timescale for making bids to the Shared Services and Collaboration Fund being managed by the 157 Group. This fund is £2.3 million to be spent during 11/12.

A commissioning document will be published on 15th June 2011, seeking bids from across the FE sector which facilitates new business modelling to achieve greater efficiencies for the benefit of learners. The deadline for receipt of proposals will be 15th July 2011. Successful applicants will be notified at the beginning of September 2011 and expected to commence activity at that stage.

You will be notified when the commissioning document is live by e mail, and will be sent a link to download via the 157 Group website. I am happy to answer any questions.
